Should we abandon South Korea?

That, apparently, is the essence of this article. Well, it's nothing if not thought provoking. The author makes some good points, but I wonder whether he underestimates the possible fallout of a disastrous turn of events should the U.S. pull out of South Korea and refuse to get involved in what follows our withdrawal.

Though I do believe we should remove all of our overseas forces, South Korea should be the last place we withdraw from.
