Maybe they should sit out the last month of the season … they'll be a shoo in if this trend keeps up!
On the other hand, they've got to get themselves back on track starting with the bats. I'd say the upcoming series with AZ would be what they've been waiting for, but so far this year they can't handle the pressure from the last place teams.
Maybe that will change. Starting tomorrow.
Odds of a sweep?

Not a fan of this lineup tonight in the slightest, but it's produced four runs. The randomness associated with any one game is truly remarkable.

Looks like almost a repeat of last night's lineup.
Tatis, Jr. hitting clean up, Profar in left field, Nola hitting 6th. Got the bases loaded twice then couldn't get any help.
With LA and SF both looking like they're going down, and the Reds getting a postponment, the Padres are movin' on up once again.
Two in a row against Arizona. Better late than never!
