Wouldn't it be nice to secure a 7'2" post player for a few years and not have to wonder who plays the 5 spot?

Wouldn't it be nice to secure a 7'2" post player for a few years and not have to wonder who plays the 5 spot? We already know who's starting at the 5 over the next 2 years, but he'd give us a good backup in '22 and would start 1 year. Obviously would prefer a comparable HS player to come in, but getting him definitely wouldn't hurt.

Nathan is the best rim protector in the MW and could be the top rebounder with more minutes. But it would be nice to be solid for the next 2-3 years. 2021 will be a big year for the Aztecs in the transfer market. Many spots to fill after this season. Health issues with Nathan still a concern?

Here's 3:11 ofSharp highlights, nice footwork, uses both hands to finish, protects the rim, good on the pick and role and is an athletic 7'2" and of course can dunk the ball. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xbZMPGdvsE

Seems like he is always ready for the ball. I am no scout but I did catch he seems to always be ready. Might be common or expected but it seems bug guys don’t always do that.

Every year is "big"; we added 4 in 2019, 5 in 2020, and we'll need to replace 5 in 2021. Nothing new. Seems to be the way college basketball operates these days.

If Coach Dutcher wants him, that’s all the endorsement I need.

"...Sharp grew two inches over the summer. His shot blocking ability makes him a game changer. Listed at 7 feet, 3 inches tall, San Diego State, Cincinnati, Oregon, Arizona and Seton Hall all want the Vols center to play for them. “He just turned 19 last week too. He’s a young kid but has worked extremely hard. He’s come a long way, extremely proud of him....” wsiltv.com/2020/09/08/scholarship-offers-continue-to-pile-up-for-a-pair-of-vols/

“He just turned 19 last week too. That'd mean he'd be a 20-year old freshmen, so he's definitely OLD for his class. Almost like getting a BYU kid after a mission.

Hoping that the Aztecs offer these two studs a package deal. Both would make the team longer and stronger.
And, it would be great to get them out of Utah!

A lot to like with this big man: insane reach, quick feet, moves really well in help D and transition, finishes everything above the rim, really talented shot blocker, plays with a high motor. I'm surprised that he isn't getting more blue blood attention
