If he was granted a waiver to play this year he'd rarely see the court given our depth, and he's not good enough to put on scholarship for 2 years to be a deep reserve guy in 2 years. He should have got more PT at WSU than he did but he's not good enough to be an Aztec.

would prefer Mike Peake 6'8" 220 lbs. regular transfer out of Georgia as a freshman avg 2 points and 2 rebounds - as a back up last year -would sit 1 and have 3 to play -

Going to throw out another name; Titus Smith 6'8" 230 lb. Jr transfer out of Louisiana He broke into the starting lineup in Mid-December, started in 17 games last season and appeared in 23 overall. He averaged 8.3/PPG, 5.9/RPG and 1.4/blocks per game.
At Louisiana he lead the Sun Belt in Blocked Shots in only 23 games. The problem he was suspended indefinitely for violation of team rules, which equated to the last 6 games of the season. Previously as a Sophomore he played at Jones County JC and averaged 8.7/PPG, 5.4/RPG and shot 63% FG. Played at UTEP as a Freshman, 4.4/PPG, 3.1/RPG and 0.5/BPG in 24 games, 7 as a starter.
Three teams, three years, one suspension - not your typical Aztec transfer and character. But, we've taken a bad boy before

We can really stop just throwing out names... it's really rather pointless when there's zero connection to SDSU.

Jerome was a great player. In his first game, against Cal, he scored 23 points. Had undeniable D1 talent.
When he arrived on campus, IIRC, he had played for 7 different teams in the preceding six years. Because of his talent, some coach somewhere was always willing to "give him another chance." My assumption at that time was that he would also be a one year player @ SDSU, solely because of his prior long history of being a "one and done" at every other stop. Fisher took a chance, and gave him a chance. Unfortunately for all parties, it worked out about the same as his earlier basketball opportunities had. I still very much wish that he had been able to play a second year and that life would have worked out much better for him.
Was he the player that was dismissed for spitting on a coed?

Was he the player that got into trouble because he didn't follow a security guards' instruction when trying to cross the street?

He was the player that didn't go to class.
