Yep, I probably saw just about every game Chris played in. A bit of an enigma was Chris. He had a solid Junior year at about 9 pts and 5 rbs per game and went down to like 6 and 2.5 in his senior year. I can't remember though if he was hurt or what happened his senior year. I liked him as a player but unfortunately, my first thought of him is always airballing the FT in the historical comeback loss to UNLV. There was a funny poster on the old board who used to refer to Chris as “...don’t be That man!”

I very much hope I’m wrong but I don’t see him as a nba prospect. I think he could make a very good living overseas playing basketball. For the nba he’s the classic defensive tweener, he’s not quick enough to guard threes and not long enough to guard 4s. He can shoot it well but his bully ball that he uses to get to rim wouldn’t have near the same effectiveness in the nba. To reiterate I hope I’m wrong, he’s had a great year for sure.

It’s not outside the realm of possibilities Matt carves himself out a niche in the NBA. He’s turned himself into a pretty legitimate shooter and that’s what plays in the league these days. With some refinement I can see him being a PJ Tucker type player.

If MM lost a few more pounds and hit the weights he might be able to further transform himself into a really "cut" player. That would be even more intimidating to all of the Aztec's opponents. I think Matt's already a cut player and very intimidating. Meh, to the losing more weight and it making him better. He's already there. Matty Mitch reminds me a little of Sir Charles Barkley.

I was thinking more along the lines of Adrian Dantley. And yes, he does have a future in the League with the right team

Great comparison.....I've been pondering who MM reminds me of Not Charles Barkley - Charles had more hops, quicker feet and was heavier than Matt....Matt certainly has a better outside touch in college Corliss Williamson - Again more hops and bigger than Matt....while Matt wins a shooting contest.... PJ tucker is the winner.......

Matt reminds me of Marcus Smart. I felt he was going the NBA when he was a freshman. We will have to wait until the end of the season to see if he is invided to the combine.

PJ is one of the best defensive players in the entire nba, he guards 4s (and now 5s) with regularity. Matt when playing the 4 struggles somewhat with fouls and isn’t near that level of defender.

Going to need Matt's help on the boards and defense against BSU - Alston , Jessup (sp) and Williams - important not to get in foul trouble

He really is reminding me of Kawhi plays tough D and the steal & slam is becoming his signature play as well.
