One of the all time choke jobs by that kicker. Missed two close looks.
I like that Nevada team.....good for them. And no, im not a BCS "honk".

Their kicker got the Nate Kaeding/Scott Norwood sickness going on. Hard to recover from something that traumatic.

Now, if TCU can win out, it should at least insure a BcS bowl bid. I would like to see Nevada play in a BcS game myself--I don't think anyone in the Big Least would have a chance against them.

Their kicker got the Nate Kaeding/Scott Norwood sickness going on. Hard to recover from something that traumatic. The announcers did comment on the fact that "most big schools have gone to the taller uprights". Don't know if that would have made a difference, however.

Nevada is definitely not chopped liver, though that will not prevent Boise from taking a hit in the polls. Chris Ault, the Wolfpack's three time head coach, is probably one of the best head coaches that almost no one has heard of. (Didn't he invent the pistol offense?) What do you want to bet that he probably had chances to move up in the coaching ranks but decided to stay in Reno?
