Even as an Ohio St fan, I have to laugh at Gee if he thinks the Big Ten is this nightmarish "gauntlet" of a schedule.
The Big Ten isn't what it used to be. It's still tough....but not what it was.
If schools like TCU and Boise schedule touch OOC games....and win them, they should get a shot.

"We do not play the Little Sisters of the Poor." --Ohio State University President E. Gordon Gee, 11/24/2010
Taking a positive spin on this comment, they played us three times in the last nine years, so no matter how dismal we thought things were, we were not (at least in Gee's words) a Little Sister of the Poor.
I suppose that also means Marshall and Eastern Michigan in 2010 do not fit that category. In 2009 Toledo and New Mexico State were not little sisters of the poor. With future games against Toledo, Akron, Cincinnati and Alabama-Birmingham on the schedule, one may want to ask, "Who are these little sisters of the poor that Gee is talking about?"

So TCU vs Ohio State(maybe) in Rose Bowl?? SWEEET No, but Boise State may get a chance against them in a lesser bowl. I would offer Boise State's coach an extra thousand dollars to run up the score.
