"East coast tough, west coast game." I like our odds. Check out the props he throws to Dutch and Acker.

seems as though he wants to get as much PT as a freshman in 2020 - sounds as if he has told coaches he will play maybe 2 to 3 years at a school getting ready for NBA. BSU loses a lot of players so that could be a temptation for him - would they "promise" him the PT
Would say an in home visit would be very helpful in fact need to reassure him that Dutcher is truly sold on him. Believe he got that impression while he was here but think the visit could really help - try to solidify the deal . But BSU does have that last visit , so should make sure we are doing all we can .

great move by the staff and expect they come in prepared
Would expect that BSU - will talk to Che about him replacing seniors Justin Jessop ,or Hobbs , and or R.J Williams and very likely being able to get a lot of PT or being a starter they will build upon starting in 2020 . They will have E. Akot , D. Alston and A Kigab there in 2020 as seniors .
We very likely have both Matt M .( unless he has break out season this year) and Jordan S back in 2020 -
So it could be an interesting and important visit for our staff . Che has said he wants to be a major contributor in 2020 and getting the development needed to prepare him for the NBA after 2 or maybe 3 years .

I think we have a legitimate shot at Evans but I feel like the more the other recruits talk about P5 or higher profile Non-P5 schools, the more likely we’ll be left at the altar again.

pleased we are doing the in home with Che . Am concerned BSU will present the available instant PT for him if he chooses BSU

pleased we are doing the in home with Che . Am concerned BSU will present the available instant PT for him if he chooses BSU From interviews with che, it sounds like he sees plenty of opportunity roster-wise at SDSU, and our staff has promised him a fair chance to prove he belongs in the rotation as a true freshman. He sees himself as a 2-and-done, and if he is indeed that talented, there shouldn’t be an issue cracking 20-25mpg as a freshman. He also, just from an optics standpoint, really seems to want to develop under Acker, as that’s the only reason we’re even on the map. Boise could well make promises and assurances for more PT, and if we lose out, I’d bet that’s the only reason why. But everything above, combined with our higher likelihood of better team results and the San Diego locale, point to our chances being very good with Che. Plus, to be completely honest, I’d like our program to be most interested in the guys that say “hell yea, I’m up for some competition for minutes, I’ll come in and prove every day that you CANT keep me off the court”.
