Kawhi named 2nd Team All NBA and 2nd Team All Defensive.
Has he already punched his ticket to the Hall of Fame?

Kawhi named 2nd Team All NBA and 2nd Team All Defensive. Has he already punched his ticket to the Hall of Fame? I think that it may depend on how far his one legged heroics can carry the Raptors this year. His ongoing quad injury seems to be career threatening. He lacked explosion and quickness all year and looks to be completely hobbled now that he’s exacerbated the tendinopathy

Kawhi named 2nd Team All NBA and 2nd Team All Defensive. Has he already punched his ticket to the Hall of Fame? If they included the postseason, he would've been 1st Team All NBA and Defensive.

Kawhi's deep playoff experience/success and more years in the league give him a huge advantage over Giannis. Kawhi is just doing what Kawhi does, he's firmly in the top 5 players in the world. He's just adding incredible depth to his legacy.
Seeing him go up against the Warriors will be must see TV. What a great opportunity for him facing off with one of great teams in NBA history. He's carrying the heaviest load, by far, of his career, he will tested like never before should they make the finals. I just hope he's not running out of gas or his health is compromised.
Next season gets REALLY interesting if he and KD both go to the Clippers, who already have a solid core of good, hard nosed players. The only possible issue is that both KD and Kawhi are both iso heavy, high usage players. I expect Kawhi would humbly morph his game for the betterment of TEAM.

Kawhi will be in the Hall of Fame just like Kevin Durant (Second Team), Lebron James (3rd Team) and Russell Westbrook (3rd Team). Kawhi got dinged for missing too many games earlier this year.

Kawhi's a first teamer, but he was injured this year, so he's second team. Pretty simple.

He was held back by the San Antonio system and likely forfeited a few All-Star appearances as a result. He then lost an entire year to injury and enough games the following year to move him off of the All NBA and Defensive first teams (and the MVP conversation.) Why should he again “humbly” sacrifice his legacy and status in the league for the “betterment of the team?” He’s a top 5 talent who, for the first time, is being treated like it.

I was hoping his MVP acceptance speech would have gone something like this " Thank God I was recruited by San Diego State. Without heir excellent coaching I would be flipping burgers at McDonalds"

He was hired by head coach Nick Nurse away from Spurs. I believe he does film studies for the Raptors to watch. I believe Nurse mentioned film studies in his post game presser.

Castelberry was front and center on TV during the Larry O'Brian trophy presentation. The only little guy in a sea of NBA sized players and coaches. He was hard to miss.
