No, it won't.
January success will mean January success. I have a fistful of cliches that I could use in this case. "The Chargers can't win the Super Bowl until they do" "past experiences do not guarantee future results" etc.
The guy's basic argument is that they won't win it all because they haven't won it all. Same thing could've been said about Cowher in 2005 and Peyton Manning in 2006. (And was.) Even Farve in '96 and Elway in '97.
Does that mean I think they will win it all? Not really. It means I think they can. Who knows what will happen, that is why they play it. I mean, we can still say that Marino can't win it all and Rivers is on track to beat Marino's yardage record.
