Missing the front ends of the 1 and 1s was a bigger factor in why the game was close imo

Just another example after example after example ad nauseum of our players who progress exactly zero percent from one year to the next. Been a problem for a long long time. Nobody gets any better year to year in this program with rare exception (DJ Gay, Jon Sharper, J. Franklin...maybe I missed a couple) But this staff has been historically pathetic at developing players and this current squad (and last year's) of returning players is a perfect example.
This is exactly what's holding us back.

And I could go on..... The better question is can dutcher and his current staff develop players? Remains to be seen.

I'm with Booster on the Mitchell TO's. I always have a lump in my throat when Matt's handling the rock! Matt usually plays well at home but he's horrible on the road... as are plenty of others. He's scored 25 points in 5 conference road games and usually gets benched early with stupid fouls. As talented as he is, we really need a lot more from him on the road.

Have you ever considered that he has shown what he is? From what I've seen, his play is no different from last year. It could be coaching or it could be him.

His stats are pretty similar to last year so I hope we're not looking at his ceiling? He's not Jalen McDaniels next level talented but I believe he's capable of putting up 15-20 points a game more often than he has.

Not that many TO's or points last night .
Has a great amount of talent that the coaches need to find away to get going in a positive direction . We are going to need him to produce
