I say start Seiko, he needs to develop, he has no game right now and Flynn will need some help back there for next year. And I'm sick of Hemsley. Agree. Watching Jeremy go from the Freshman that put up 30, to the out-of-control driver, turnover passer and incredibly erratic and mostly ineffective free-throw shooter tells us everything we need to know about how the end of the Fisher era and these last two years have collapsed the program from a developing players perspective. Hemsley, Kell, Pope, Shepard, Cheatum etc all had scads of talent but never developed like they could have at a school with a better coaching staff. I have been saying for years, you can count on one hand the total number of players that were better their senior year than their sophomore year in Fisher era.

3-21 from threes..We got out rebounded and out coached.. Seems to be a pattern these days. that's a note worthy 14%.

Seems to be a pattern these days. that's a note worthy 14%. Just two games ago, announcers were calling us sharpshooters. Now our shooting percentage rivals YMCA league teams

Great coaches dont get blown out as often as Dutcher.. Dutcher better start recruting or he will be given the Golden handshake after 20 years of state service. This simple transition from one coach to another has become a nightmare. #Loyalty vs Merit#
Btw when is John David Wicker going to fire the WBB coach.. The coach cant beat a D1 team after five years!!!

Better yet, when will Wicker get his walking papers. He's completely out of his element.

This team clearly doesn't listen to Dutch. They play more as individuals than as a team.
The announcers were even talking how Dutch was talking to the team at the shoot around to come out with focus and energy tonight. In addition, they came out of two separate timeouts tonight and miss their defense assignments. That is a plain lack of focus or the team is not buying what Dutch is selling. IMO, Dutch is afraid to use the bench as a motivator for players who struggle or who don't listen. He needs to set the tone for the rest for this year and beyond.
Lastly, in the past Aztec Hoops had an identity, we played hard nose defense without fouling and rebounded fairly well. This team has no identity to fall back on and needs to shoot the ball well to win. We will see more of the same this year. Games we struggle and look lost for example Brown and Boise. Then we will have games like BYU when we look good because we shot the ball well.

Hate to say I told you so, I hate in this instance to be right but the HCIW idea is illogical. Even the die hard loyalists are now bashing Dutcher, I posted after a couple games in Maui, and of course I was told to chill out, itâs early. Bill Walton commented the team came out sleep walking and that my friends is coaching and lack of preparation. All thatâs left is to witness the meltdown that is imminent.

Wonder what Fish is thinking now.

X was a transfer. Sky maybe he was consistent but, could never score. Billy? Another maybe. Winston got better on D and maybe assists but O? No! Malik? No. Aerick Sanders and Chase are the ones that come to mind for me.

Wonder what Fish is thinking now. The reality is Dutch is here for this year and next before his seat even starts getting warm. He seems like a nice guy and very even tempered, but he needs to get after this team and run the arses in practice. I do not see a bad cop personality on this coaching staff. It doen't look like he hired one and Hutson is gone, so Dutch has to become one to get their attention.

We wonât fire Dutcher and Dutcher wonât change his starting lineup but at least weâll get to hear a Dutcher interview where he tells us all the players were in tears in the locker room.

I agree that Fish maybe didn't;t do us a favor forcing Dutch on the admin. I hope Dutch over time and with his players can make this program even better than Fish but it sure is hard to see that now. He looks pretty lost out there and I don't think there is a big talent discrepancy against us when we play most teams so it has to be coaching.

I thought it was particularly bad when the TV Announcer talked about the fact that our defense was so bad that our defense (Schakel) was actually behind the three point shooter watching him as he made his shot. He didn't even try to defend. The announcer said that Schakel was clearly out of position and had a good seat to watch the shot.

I agree that the pre game video should be eliminated, its really embarrassing at this point. When we had really good/great teams with a great defense we earned the right to have some swagger and show our highlights. Right now it is a joke.
