Colton Brewer to the Red Sox for a AA 2nd baseman. One spot opens.

Walker Lockett to the Indians. Quiroz, by the way, is a legit MLB prospect. I cannot believe we got a legit MLB player for Colten Brewer.

Quiroz had an over .400 OBP this year after playing in the Mexican League. He will get knocked because of his age, but he can absolutely hit and has great barrel control. Ignacio is another teenage heist by Preller. Both of these are great pickups for nothing, essentially.

With Villanueva and Spangenberg gone, that leaves Myers as the only player with significant 3B time.

Why in the name of Tony Gwynn is Javier Guerra still on the 40 man roster? let him go and be done with him.

He's the only true shortstop on the roster right now, so I doubt he goes anywhere right now.

Trading players who would have to be protected for younger players who don't need to be on the 40 man roster is smart.

Javy Guerra is no longer a shortstop. Opening the season at Lake Elsinore. As a pitcher.

Matt Wisler is back with the Padres. No word yet if he is going to El Paso or staying in San Diego.

He is out of minor league options. He will be with the Padres out of the bullpen.

I’m not a fan of Mejia behind the plate yet!
