An excellent play, and shows that you can fool even the big boys on a P5 team if you do it right! Shows what happens when you assume that he put his hand up. He did raise both arms, but not to wave them, only to make the catch. Then he nonchalantly just stood still as though he was waiting to give the ball to the ref to place down, and the Arkansas guys believed the whole routine. Then he takes off for a TD. Even then when he first started running I believe the Arkansas players thought the ref would blow the whistle to call it dead, but no. Back in 2012 with our first game against Washington in Seattle we had called a timeout, and our whole team was on the sideline. We were trailing 14-0 at the time, but the OC came up with a super great play to call. When the timeout ended all the players, but Tim Vizzi went back to the middle of the field to line up for the play which was called on the sidelines. Tim played it cool like he was out of the game cheering his teammates on, but he was actually a few inches inside the sideline awaiting the ball to be snapped. The Huskies never payed him any attention thinking he was out of the game. The ball was snapped, and Vizzi slowly ran toward the endzone like he was following the play. Ryan Katz the QB first looked to the right, then to the middle of the field, and finally looked over to Vizzi who was all alone in the left side of the field. he tossed it too him , and it was a race between Tim Vizzi and all the out of position Husky DB's who were at least 20 yards away from him. Tim raced to the endzone with our first TD! Greatest play I had ever seen live at a football game, and the Aztec crowd in the stands went crazy!!!!!! The Husky players or coaches never counted our No. of players we had a the start of the play since there were only ten in the center of the field. Tim was No.11 on the outside!
