LOL! I'm stuck at Urgent Care and the TV has a cheesy Hallmark style Christmas movie on. Low and behold, Miles Burris is on the tube. He's even rocking a British accent. It's called A Royal Christmas Ball. It even has Tara Reid in it.

Just watched the movie 'The Safety' on Disney + Burris has a big role in the movie. Its worth the watch. Check it out. The story of Ray-Ray McElrathbey, a freshman football player for Clemson University, who secretly raised his younger brother on campus after his home life became too unsteady. Yah. I was gonna play college football, get drafted, play in the NFL, be extremely handsome, make movies in Hollywood, marry my high school sweetheart, etc.
Unfortunately, something went wrong along the way and I didn’t achieve any of these things. 😁
Pretty talented guy and great to see him be successful.

FSU had Burt Reynolds but no one else to my knowledge. |

There are hundreds of former college football players who turned FULL TIME actors (Not just famous NFL players who made cameos due to their fame...like the Dan Marino's, Deion Sander's, Terry Bradshaw's, and Jim Brown's) John Wayne Howie Long Ed O'Neil Dwayne Johnson John Matuszak Bill Goldberg John Amos Terry Crews Roman Reigns Josh Duhamel OJ Simpson James Caan John Goodman And these are just the famous ones. We don't really hear about the Miles Burris's of other schools. So, I vary highly doubt we lead the nation in football players turned actors lol. |
