Did you check out the Kansas score? Chuck Long continues to struggle as OC for the Jayhawks.

Wow, AztecWilliam lays the smackdown on Chuck Long! DOWN GOES LONG! DOWN GOES LONG!!!! To be fair, he likely doesn't have the kind of players he had at Oklahoma. Of course, I could have been the OC at Oklahoma and gotten the same results that CL did. Maybe better. I do tend to show more creativity than he did. He's probably best suited to be a QB coach. I'll bet he would be pretty good at that. His performance as OC this year has been uneven - good some weeks, horrible other weeks. Maybe it is the talent level, who knows? He'll probably have another year or two to get some consistency going. If it's consistently good then he'll still have a job. If it's consistenly bad (or still uneven) then he'll likely get demoted or fired.

William is funny. I didn't see his comment last week when Kansas scored in the 4th quarter.

Highly erratic is the description I would give it. KU's QB has gone from 23-28 for 252 yards one week to 3-13 for 15 yards the next.
Oh and Colorado's complete meltdown in the former game was the straw that broke Dan Hawkins' back.
