Do not think Boogie was going to make a commitment this early or at least with SDSU. Malachi wanted to make a decision by mid May .

Highly doubt he considers Georgia Tech since his former teammate Justin Moore got a raw deal there. I spoke with Boogie's former coach and we are still in great standing with Boogie. I asked if getting Flynn will hurt our chances and he said no. That Boogie can play either guard position like a slightly better version of Hemsley. I hope hes a lot better than Hemsley to be honest. Hemsley scares me as our starting 2 guard.

Boogie would not arrive until after Hemsley has graduated.

Hemsley scares me as our starting 2 guard. Hemsley's huge problem (other than too many mental mistakes by forcing the issue) is that he can't pull up off the dribble at all. He either can shoot spot up threes or drives all the way to the basket, nothing in between. Boogie has a very pretty pull up jumper off the dribble. If Hemsley developed that (like X did) he would be SUCH a better player, it's really frustrating that he hasn't added that to his game

Boogie would not arrive until after Hemsley has graduated. He was comparing the role Hemsley is expected to play with Watson this year to how Boogie and Flynn would play together in 19-20.

will go back to the question what is most important for a PG for the Aztecs . Taking care of the basketball ( as few TO's as possible and getting the ball to team mates for decent shots) Would guess that 2 quality guys could survive and or let the other slide over to the 2 position . Being more of a scorer . Question then becomes who can play D . That is if Boogie still has interest in playing here with all his other offers .

And again the answer is dependent upon the personnel around him. If you need scoring then scoring is most important; if you have scoring, then a distributor is more important. Since the Aztecttcas just said he spoke with his coach & we're in good standing with him, I'm guessing he's still interested in playing here. Did you miss that?

It's head down all the way. He's a tremendous driver & finisher, and can stroke the 3, but he's not multifaceted when doing each. It's 1 or the other.

would guess that if we had two quality PG's they could co exist . Name of the game is to avoid turning the ball over , and be looking for open team mates . Moving the ball , and if they are not open then looking for the shot . Court sense . Team basketball . Also need to play some D .
Will also be very interested to see how Adam S . performs this year .

We want guys who want to win. If Boogie is worried about minutes because someone we have on the roster we don’t want him. We want guys who aren’t scared of competition and believe they can add something to the team to help win a championship.
I think Boogie and Flynn can complement each other and would be a deadly force for other teams to try and stop.

Hasn't Villanova been playing 2 PGs the past few years?
