We'll get him as a bounce back transfer when Duke recruits over him. Exactly. Like Abukar, Chol and Tony Clark.

I wish this kid good luck in the future with whatever decision he makes and hopes he is a future Aztec. At Duke, you will be a guy. At State you will be the guy! People that live in San Diego sometimes do not always appreciate San Diego until they leave San Diego. If you leave, you will understand how fortunate you were to live in San Diego.

"Who is M Grads and what's his relationship with Boogie?"
I recall seeing MGrads name a lot when we were being considered for Isaac Hamilton, who eventually bounced back to UCLA. I think he was also publishing youtube videos on the Hamilton brothers in high school. He definitely has a connection to LA basketball, not sure his actual name.

My friends son goes to Mission Bay High and he has heard other student say he was going Duke. I hope this is incorrect and we are still in the running. We wish him the best although we were the first to recruit him. Reminds me alot of the Brandon McCoy situation.

As someone who didn’t get anything but walk-on tryout offers at DIIIs for golf coming out of high school, I can confidently say that I would blame no one with NBA aspirations for going to Duke.

The flipside to all this Duke talk is that whoever ends up at Duke next year will INEVITABLY be compared to this year's squad. This is blatantly unfair, of course, and far more pressure than should be levied against them, but it's human nature. This year features a freak-show of talent. Even athletes that would normally stand out look weak up against them. I would encourage Boogie to stay in San Diego and become a hometown hero on a team where he will shine rather than being obscured by the glare from other shiny objects.

I could understand losing a prized prospect to a basketball royalty school like Duke, UNC, Kansas, etc.....but losing one to UNLV was a head-scratcher

Back to Boogie - There's so much Duke smoke that I'm inclined to believe that's the way he's been leaning for a while. It's a bummer because we recruited him from the get go, but I'll never blame a kid for going to that school.
