Serious questions about the administration's health insurance reform (I will temper my impulse to put quotation marks around the work reform! ) have been raised. There may be legitimate answers to those questions which, if given clearly and convincingly, might make the proposal more popular with the public. So far, such answers have not been forthcoming. For the record, here are some of those questions. . . www.philly.com/inquirer/opinion/20100307_Back_Channels__Democrats_silent_on_health-bill_concerns.htmlAzWm

It is really puzzling that this bill as now constructed would, if passed, set up an easy way for the Republicans to let the Novemember elections be a referendum on Health Care and leave a lot of Democrats hanging out to dry. How many Democrats are willing to sacrifice their positions in order to support a bill that the public does not want by a three to one margin. I think a lot of folks are seeing this as a big gamble by Obama to get a political win at the expense of his Democratic Congressmen at the polls.
