A free paid visit and dinner? Why not. Shop around while you can. Oldie Out Yeah all that and a bale of hay too! I'd say young Mr. Bell would be much happier in the AZTEC Offense than Leach's throw it 72 times a game Air raid offense. The RB is nearly a "forgotten man" at WSU. GO AZTECS!!

That would be a dumb move by him if he has any hopes to go to the NFL. He'd never even get any carries in that offense

Look at the bright side: He could really sharpen his pass blocking skills to help the qb & receivers complete more passes.

same pattern that we usually get PAC schools lose their main choice so go over the lists of SDSU, BSU .... and see who can they poach from G5 schools . Every recruit has their own set of priorities as to what is important .

P5 vs G5 . Major reason why schools such as WSU can try to pull this off and why they want to keep us out of the PAC

Was Ryan Leaf a bad college QB? No, just a lousy pro! So what if he was a lousy pro? Leaf was an immature kid who became a drug addict. Now Leaf has turned his life around and he works to help other drug addicts. On Monday morning Leaf was on the Dan Silio show - he owned his past, apologized for letting San Diego down, and talked about his efforts to help others in trouble. twitter.com/ryandleaf?lang=enwww.nydailynews.com/sports/football/ryan-leaf-nfl-biggest-draft-bust-turned-life-article-1.2624679Getting back to the topic of this thread, it's stupid to say a kid shouldn't go to WSU because Ryan Leaf went there (and became a 1st Team AA, Pac-10 POY, Sammy Baugh Award Winner, Heisman finalist, and led WSU to a Top 10 ranking and the Rose Bowl). The reasons Bell shouldn't go to WSU are because it has a bad football program, that doesn't feature RBs, and it's currently surrounded in controversy.

I'm glad Ryan Leaf has turned it around. Better to take advantage of your second or third chances. Great that he owned up to squandering his opportunities. Good Luck to him.
You forgot to quote Douchey1 also!

Back to the topic . Some recruits see being selected by Any P5 school is their goal , of course they would prefer a better program but .... . Even Lower level P5 schools get big money to spend on their athletes even if they do not do well during the season . Other recruits may see G5 as a better choice , every recruit is different as to what they are looking for .
Chance is not the first recruit for us or a wide variety of other G5 schools that may flip from a G5 program to a P5 and he will not be the last .

Ryan Leaf went to Washington State. Nuff said Was Ryan Leaf a bad college QB? No, he was one of the best. It is that he topped out at WSU and drugs took over later. Sad because he was a good kid. I saw him play one game in High School against Flathead when he was at Great Falls. Really a great player who just stopped developing after college and his character was exposed.
