that is the problem , guys start to believe the hype hire an agent and can get left for a quick trip to another country . Just a thought just let any college player be eligible for the draft (unless some come out and say not even interested ), hold the draft , those not selected can go back to college if they choose ? So what is the over under on how many MW guys get selected for the NBA draft ? How many stay in the NBA draft but do not get selected ? Why let the NBA decide if a player can play in the NCAA or not? What would be fair is if the only decision a player has to make is, sign or not sign. Why does the NCAA favor the NBA over the players? What the NCAA does now, is take away any fallback option for the players. Let players be drafted, sign with an agent, negotiate, and still be able to decide to come back and play in the NCAA. Power to the players and the free market - not to the NCAA and the NBA who have monopolies.

Jalen Moore is unsurprisingly coming back Good for him & good for USU. Glad he favors college over making money internationally.
USU really needed him back - young, inexperienced team outside of Rector. Losing Evans hurt.

so was the final results UNLV lost two early entry players and BSU one . to the pros ? All others coming back ? Yes, believe that's the net-net, although I believe technically UNLV lost more than 2 (Jones, Zimmerman, Obepka, McCaw), plus Okonoboh (although he left early on anyway). ESPN has a complete list somewhere. Here's a good article listing winners & losers post NBA-draft entry deadline. SDSU is mentioned...(Insider Sub req) espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/insider/story/_/id/15742391/villanova-big-winner-nba-draft-decisions-usc-lost-bigAmong teams listed as winners are SDSU with Pope returning. Since it's a paid subscription & we frown on quoting in full, I won't quote all. But loved this line: "First of all, he works in San Diego. That's a major victory each day." Among the left coast, Cal is noted as a winner in all this as is Oregon, while USC is mentioned as a significant loser. A team that went from being a "top 10-15 squad" to one which might have difficulty even making the dance. Romar & UNLV ("a complete train wreck") are also mentioned as losers.

Didn't the Huskies sign a very highly rated guard ? Huskies also hired an assistant coach Porter who by coincidence has a son rated #2 for 2017 and has another highly rated son ? USC took a hit but will bring in some quality players .
Nevada , Lobos , SDSU , USU all got back some valuable players for 2016 season .

Yes, mutts add Fultz but the point is if either Chriss and/or Murray return they're an E8 contender. So losing both definitely makes them among the biggest losers in all this. That's rather obvious. Adding Porter to the staff doesn't have anything to do with being a winner/loser from the NBA-draft entry. USC will bring back some quality players but they're nowhere near where they would have been without losing 2 to the pro's & the transfers. That's an extremely thin roster. Only 5 scholarship players with any experience (although could add another via grad-transfer if available). Yep, outside UNLV the MW made out pretty well in all this, and there's a lot of very good talent coming into the league. Another west coast team that took a BIG hit is Stanford. They suffered thru injuries last year, but were probably going to be OK this year until Allen kept his name in the draft. That really hurt them. Several P12 teams will take steps backward this year, at least compared to last year. Oregon & UA will be very good, and UCLA should greatly improve. Maybe ASU, but still probably middle of the road for P12. The rest....
