This is pure craziness, looking for another place to finish his career.

Not craziness, probably very much a mutual decision that lets Matthews get some minutes as a freshman.

Not craziness, probably very much a mutual decision that lets Matthews get some minutes as a freshman. SG's Matthews, Aaron and Melton all new to the USC roster. Elijah Stewart is USC best player so Reinhardt is now a hired gun for some school looking for points.

I imagine this is hard on him. He loves USC and fits into the program well there. I've heard he is a very smart guy and very well spoken. What I've heard about him is that he could easily go into sports broadcasting later down the road (if he chooses to do so). USC is a great school for those endeavors, so I'm sure this is not a positive situation for him.

I bet he ends up at Gonzaga, they have plenty of International bigs but need a SG. Imagine a back court of Nigel Williams-Goss and Reinhart?

I think I've heard from others on this board that that's the Mater Dei way. A common occurrence among players out of MD.

Would be take him on a one year rental??? Our back court is too crowded with Kell, Hemsley, Shrigs, Allen, Teki, Perez..I am sure that he wants significant minutes. Not sure if he can go to a PAC school, he's played in the MWC whats next?

If he is a grad transfer , he could go any where he chooses that has an opening for a starting SG . Zags seem to love transfers .

BUT, he's graduating and leaving as a 5th year graduate transfer which is normal (we accept them here, too). Wait, is he looking at us? Oldie Out

From his game play observations, his defense is suspect and can be turnover prone.

@ Marquette with all the other guys we recruited Brendan Bailey and Markus Howard. They now have some shooters again.
