That would be bad news indeed. However, it appears that just such an outcome is definitely possible. The current president of Argentina thinks that Venezuela's dictator, Hugo Chavez, is a fine fellow worthy of emulation.
Meanwhile, Argentina's economy is headed for the rocks.

PS: What is it about Argentina? They never miss an opportunity to screw things up. And to think that before 1950 the country was perhaps the most prosperous in Latin America!
