The guys in ties will be on the road this spring/summer filing empty scholarship spots for 2016 and evaluating incoming 2017 recruits.

Is that UAA III in Los Angeles a tournament or something that is open to the public and something people can buy tickets for? I'd be interested in checking it out

Yes, the events are open to the public. I try to go to one of the events every year. Besides seeing good talent it is fun seeing the well known coaches.

so is this primarily 2017 , 18 , 19 recruiting classes ?

Yes, mostly 2017, 2018, and 2019. It is possible to get some unsigned 2016 players also (Ben Perez played in the events last year).
