Washington ranks low in graduation report

The Washington men's basketball team is tied for sixth in the latest Graduation Success Rate report released today by the NCAA. This report is designed to let schools know how they are performing and should not be confused with the APR, which is released in the spring and is the measurement the NCAA uses to penalize schools with a string of low performances.
The report released today is based on players who entered school in the 2003-04 academic year. Washington had a 44 percent graduation success rate.
Here is how the Pac-10 teams ranked in the latest report:
Stanford - 80 Oregon - 79 UCLA - 70 Oregon State - 64 Arizona State - 60 Washington - 44 Washington State - 44 USC - 42 California - 30 Arizona - 20
