With Kazee coming back I'm not sure we want to use another scholarship at CB on a senior. Don't we have a former starter/player at UA sitting in the wings? Seems like we might be better served with a young HS talent who'll be around for more than a year & develop.
That said, if we believe we're not going to compromise our recruiting class size, then the more talent the better! No-Cal to So-Cal would be an easy transition, and it'd give him the opportunity to face his former mates.
One thing I really hope is he doesn't go to Fresno. They have a transfer in Brown (from WSU) who will be very good next year, and Dozier would make them even better.

The question is does he have any interest in SDSU?

No need, I have confidence in Babiash and Vaughn. Though Babiash, maybe focused in at Warrior position

It looks like CAL may lose Goff and WR Lawler early, if this DB leaves does this diminish CAL enough that Rocky may have a shot at beating a P5 team next season??

Without Goff alone we'll have a shot, especially at home.

I'd say no. It is not likely a one year guy coming from another system could learn the intricate 335 CB responsibilities and be ready in the fall. If you want a short term guy go for a JC, then you have one year to learn and one year to play. GO AZTECS

Looks like 22 Srs. leaving and both 300 lb.+ DTs are gone!

Looks like 22 Srs. leaving and both 300 lb.+ DTs are gone! In looking at their depth chart vs. SDSU it looks like they lose 7 on O, and 5 on D. Believe they had a couple other senior transfers, but don't think any were starters. That's still a lot.

Believe CAL is rated the 25th best recruiting class for 2016 . Have 23 recruits with at lest 10 signed . The DB mentioned had slipped to a back up role this year .

Billy Vaughn Jr will be playing next to Kazee. He would have this year if Wittaker was not granted a sixth year.If you noticed he was the first one down on the kickoff creating havoc. He has earned the promotion.Babiash was moved to warrior so I do not believe he is a canidate.

It is a lot of isolation with a few blitzes thrown in.
