There is no wonder why MW MBB is not that good . per Rivals 2016 recruits :UNLV's Fisher rated #55 , USU.s McEwen #103 , Nevada's Ramsey #106 , Lobo's Jefferson #124 , all guards or SF , Aztecs McDaniels # 127 only PF/C .
SDSU did add three transfers / red shirts - as did others but the lower rated HS recruits says a lot about HS recruiting for MW schools .

This is a bit deceiving because Nolan Narian would be in this class if he decided to stay in HS this year. Agree, not a good showing by MW schools.

With Daniels, Narain, and our two transfers... we had a very good group coming in. And yet more possibly to come in the Spring.

For 2016 our major need will be to replace Skylar - at the 5 position and his back up Angelo . As of today hope Nolan can be the starter but he will need a back up , is it Jalen or a transfer ? Thought Jalen said he preferred the 4 position but would guess if he meant more PT if he helped at the 5 he would .
We also lose Winston , but have Zylan and Malik back at the forwards . MG-C could be another possible starter or major reserve for 2016 . Max as a reserve or another 3 point shooter from the wing .
Getting back to the original post . MW has not been able to get the top 25 HS recruits . So must coach up guys or go the transfer route . Many of the top 25 teams do base their squad on their HS recruiting then add a player or two as needed. MW has not been able to land many top 25 HS guys , results show up in OOC games and MM .
