Great to finally see a QB come through the system: Chapman . With Agnew , and the new recruit in the wings .As we saw last night , nice to have good RB's but we still need a solid QB to win the championship .
Kelly - if we have DP, Stamps, Penny and numerous guys coming up . Better to get him on the field as DB they are needed just as much or more then another RB . We lose JJ after this year . Would be great to have him and Penny return kick offs .

Sorry if I'm out of the loop, but what happened to Chad Jeffries? I did a quick google and apparently he's playing for Azusa Pacific? What happened? I had a chance to meet Coach Long at an event a while back. In short, I got the impression that Jefffries was just not mentally tough enough for the position, and was not learning the offense/decision making fast enough. So, he transferred.

no need to go over all the guys who have left or other schools . focus for right now on the QB's for the end of this year and going forward . Other then to recognize and realize that the recruiting and developing of QB's up to this year has been Terrible . Has the staff gotten it going in the right direction? we hope so with Chapman and others for 2016 . Sure hope we can develop into a school noted for its QB's going forward . with out quality play by our QB's this year we would Never Won the MW title . QB play needs to stay at that level or better ,going forward .

Most of these guys have some very average HS stats
That explains our issues
We have a region full of QBS lighting up the skies and this is what we got?

Chapman, Agnew, and Johnson (if he signs) all look to have us headed in the right direction to improve things at the QB position...

Something about the water or system in that part of Texas. That's why I'm sold on Agnew without seeing him in live reps at this level.

Will be interesting to see what happens with the QB's :Smith , JR ( if he can graduate this summer can go to any school or stay ) . We do have the 3 younger QB's : Chapman , Agnew ( can he throw a Spiro ) and Johnson(Red Shirt ?) , does staff go with them or add transfer ? Numerous moving parts. will keep this interesting . and something to follow .

Lol at the horrible talent evaluation at what is the most important position in football. It can be blamed in part on rotating OCs every two years but there was one constant for all of the bad ones post-Lindley through Bawden and Odeman. Call it a 7-recruit losing streak.

That's why there's a new QB coach. Rotation looks pretty good right now, especially if Max returns.

This kid is under the radar for class of 2017 just up the 5 FWY. Dawit Wilson was overshadowed in a league last year that included seniors: Devon Modster (U of A-decommit), Patrick O'Brien (Nebraska) and league MVP Brock Johnson who won 28 straight games, two section titles and a state championship. He's visited Duke so far so he has grades. Not sure about other offers. Check out the run near the 1:20 mark. This kid can move and has a decent arm. He's also been a starter on a pretty good hoops team since his freshman year at SG. I think he's better than Lucas Johnson. Wilson plays in the top public school division, CIF West Valley in the state and arguably the toughest public school league in the nation. So he's put up his numbers against some very good teams.
