I'm really loving that we're onto a lot of these 4 and 5 star athletes, not only offering a scholarship but really going after them. Granted we may not get many if any but I love that expectations are raised, we're no longer accepting the norm of leave those guys alone we don't have a chance. Go Rocky for being a bad ass and Go Aztecs!

I thought you were talking about MBB and would have disputed that Malik and Pope are playing up to potential of a 5-star athlete.

We have great talent coming back next year at so many positions. Biggest concern will again be loss on the OL of Greene and Slater . With the decommit of JC Green we will really need step up of inexperienced people. As of today we have no OL commits. We need that to change and I'm hoping for that JC miracle to save us next year

We have that mammoth of a man child coming in Stanton from Virginia but I don't think he'll be ready to play right away. Ol line and max coming back is what next year really hinges on. If we can get max back for a 6th year and get good o line play. This team can really break into a bcs bowl game. They could even go undefeated with the amount of talent we have coming back.

Is Rosales any good? I think he's Greene's backup.

As suggested major importance is improving the OL . The OL 's improvement has been key in both running yardage and the ability of Max to have time to hit the receivers . Old adage team that controls the line of scrimmage controls the game .
also sure helps having a QB that does not TO the ball and hits the basic passes . look at all the big wins in the conference this year and major losses. Who won the LOS and TO battles ?

Seems like Max is debating the idea of coming back or not even if he is given the opportunity. I guess he already has his Masters Degree.

Another key factor for next year are if any juniors come out early. We have 5 getting NFL interest, including Munson and Kazee.

I think Kazee would be the first drafted, have been really impressed with him.

I hope he comes back, but I'm guessing he could be picked anywhere as early as 2nd round. Kazee is just that good, has speed, vision, hands, can lock up a teams best guy and still return punts/kicks. Kid is very versatile. We've got great depth at cb but hard to imagine we can replace Whittiker and Kazee in one offseason.

Are there stats on Kazee and Munson when we played CAL and PSU - two P5 schools . a lot of stats are getting inflated playing the MW schools . ? Dare we compare our guys with the PSU defense , as many scouts will . If you are hard ship case then go for NFL but would guess you really want to be considered 3 rd round or above to go early especially from a G5 school . You also do not get to play in a "senior bowl ".
What 4 or 5 star HS recruits are we really in consideration for in football ? Even in basketball this past year we only signed One Four Star ?

Considering us and actually thinking about committing to SDSU are two wildly different things. I don't expect any of the 4 stars are seriously considering us;we're more of a back up to them. But I'll take them if they want us.
At this point in the season, our upcoming games are crucial to how recruits view us program wise. Success begets stars, the better we are the more players will notice.

Little doubt that guys that are debating what G5 school they may attend will be watching our next three games . Getting the 4 or 5 star guy is still not easy ,if they get an offer from a P5 . Know the 4 star WR last year was a bust , but didn't we also get a LB . How is he doing ? From last year 's recruiting class , about how many actually played and how many are red shirting this year ? Know the QB Agnew red shirted . also both RB's . others...?

I think Kazee would be the first drafted, have been really impressed with him. Seen him say he's coming back next year. That was, however, earlier in the season before he really proved his ability.

One of the guys on the list, Vigilant, we have a good shot at. Made his top5 and he doesn't care for a big name school, would rather be the big fish in small pond to stand out.
