Channel 5 Fox just interviewed him and he mentioned that he made a decision about a week ago. I wonder why did he went to the CSUSM exhibition game on Monday when he had already made up his mind to go to UCLA last Thursday? Why continue with the charade and wearing a red and black tie? Total classless if you ask me. I too was interested in him going here but with absolutely no sour grapes, am not heartbroken that he's not coming. I think the teasing of the program for the last week after apparently having made the decision a week ago, shows a total lack of class by him and his whole family. That's not even counting the BS move of the black and red tie. I also think it was a long con to get back at SDSU for his big brother's debacle. But more than that, I think he's going to end up like Winston's Findley prep situation. When you play on a team with 4 very good basketball players like he does with his AAU team, it is much easier to look very good. That's not to say he doesn't have BB skills and talents but I'll believe the one-and-done when I see it. I think he'll have problem with kids his size with more quickness. He'll be good but I am personally sure he won't be great. I think he'll end up a lot softer than previously thought.

The picture below tells the whole story. Both dad and brother were wearing an Adidas shirt and the Adidas handler is his AAU coach I believe. He's also holding up and Adidas shoe. What a surprise. twitter.com/byrdymanSure is a lot of Adidas in that pic It would take an NCAA investigator to tell you that there is absolutely nothing going on as far as: Adidas HS sneakers, Adidas AAU team, Adidas dad and Adidas UCLA. He would tell you this is all purely a coincidence!

Don't bash a kid who you would be drooling over if he picked us. Sour grapes make bad whine. Did you not see the red and black tie he was wearing? If he hadn't done that, then nobody here would be bashing him. UCLA is a better choice academically but not basketball-wise. The kid is an ass for doing that. They totally did that on purpose as if they had some vendetta against Fisher. Troy Leaf was not a good player hence him ending up at Azusa Pacific. People can be classless douche bags. College recruiting scene is a hot bed for them. It should not surprise you that someone cannot handle the spotlight with class. UCLA has won more basketball titles than we could ever dream of AND they are seemingly putting 1 player into the league every year. We have 1 in the past 4 years. Therefore, I'm not sure that we can make the argument that SDSU is a better option basketball-wise than UCLA.

If USC can get sanctioned because Reggie Bush's parents got free rent from a wanna be agent, why can't USC be punished when a recruits dad gets benefits from a shoe company? Plus, how did Leaf get the shoe that he held up at the press conference? UCLA can't give him gear yet, if they did it is a violation. If he got it from Addidas, then it's a violation unless he paid fair market value.

It obviously goes on, just never gets punished.

Here is something you might have missed. He was probably holding up the Addias shoe because UCLA has all their uniforms, etc... made by Addias. That may be his way of saying he was picking UCLA. Time to turn over a new Leaf anyway!

Of course there is regulations preventing athletes from receiving pay, that is why they don't have shoe deals or any other endorsements for that matter. That is why Ohio State got in trouble for free tats in exchange for autographs. I agree, it does go on all they time.
