ATH? What the hell is that supposed to mean? Is it an acronym? He is a local all time high? Is it an abbreviation? He's a local atheist? I don't see how that is important. Is it an airport code for Athens International Airport? He appears to be a football player of moderate regard. He doesn't have a position ranking which would make sense as he doesn't appear to have a position. Or is ATH his position, alternating tail-h back?

Athlete, usually end up as kick returners or slot receivers. They usually are fast and elusive types.

He plays RB, SS, OLB or possibly some WR, so is a basic all around athlete , both sides of the ball. Plays for Mission Hills one of the better San Diego football teams . Do not think he is a star for them . Should see him on PPR KUSI or you could attend his games . RB we seem deep . Guys playing now 4 deep . Plus red shirting this year are J. Washington (sp ) very good talent and another RB . Also we have recruited another RB from Westlake for 2016 ,if we can keep him .

An athlete is a 2 way player who will play the position that gets him on the field the fastest. Could be a wr/db, de/te, etc. Not at all uncommon to see players listed as "athletes" in recruiting circles...Let me guess, now you want an explanation as to what a wr/db and de/te stand for?

Thanks guys. You get jokes. Isn't it much better to make fun of fellow posters than teenage basketball commits who choose another program and school for their academic/athletic future?

From a two star with no scholarship offers accept one from the whole country.I doubt the entire US could be wrong about this guy but this is what we recruit every year.

I'm glad you are poking fun at yourself about ATH as they usually end up in the secondary. We have one this year in Baldwin who is growing up fast on special teams

If you aren't going to watch the dude's film and comment on what he brings to the team, then feel free to keep your opinion on this to yourself. Offers and rankings on recruiting sites aren't everything. I'd rather have under the radar guys like Munson and possibly Stricklin than headaches from the academic 4* guys we "bring in"

Take a breath my friend. The number of 3* recruits is consistent.... but my opinion is the overall depth of talent on the team is going up. I wish it were going up faster, but at least its going up. 3 Star recruits, according to Rivals (FWIW).... 2016 - 6 - so far (out of 15 commits) 2015 - 10 - (includes two 4* - Tezino & Holmes gone) 2014 - 10 2013 - 8 2012 - 6 2011 - 13 Rocky Long Hired 2010 - 16 - (includes one 4* - Jackson never played) 2009 - 4 Brady Hoke Hired 2008 - 4 2007 - 8 2006 - 5 Chuck Long Hired 2005 - 13 - (includes two 4* - Mauga/Smith never played) 2004 - 7 - (includes two 4*) 2003 - 6 - (includes two 4* - Hamilton) 2002 - 6 - (includes three 4*) Tom Craft Hired
