Completely agree he's better than what we've had in the past, but there still does need to be some concern. I don't really worry about the 50+ kicks, but between 40 & 49 he was 6-7 last year 7and is 1-3 this year. When you've had offensive struggles & you get down to the 25-30 you want/need to score & those misses can start to wear on you.
Got to have lunch with him at the kick-off luncheon & he definitely seems like a very confident kid, so think he'll be fine. But then again, kickers can be a finicky group....

Should have clarified the question . How many yards do the other teams "gunners" have to give a punt returner if he signals for a fair catch ? Kicker , one part if form , also if kicking from the hash mark in college , then good part is confidence . He has been our best kicker in a while but has also missed some FG's , so it is an area that does need to be looked at both form and confidence ?
Mills would it help his confidence if he returned kick offs as Price will be starting RB ?

You just can't touch the guy or block his vision from making an attempt at catching it.

The only problem with our kicker is that he can't hit from 65 yards out. Given the offense that sort of leg should be a priority. Now where do we find one? Hmmm?

Come on dude! No! He missed a couple of FG's, so his average will not be as high this year. Just because of that , and you think there is a problem?
Wait, and see how he does in the two away games at Honlulu, and San Jose. I expect he will sort out the difficulty, and come back.
