Both of your new threads just add to the idea that health care and most other issues should be done piece meal with a time between elements to digest the effect.

Exactly so. The Democrats appear never to have heard of the Law of Unintended Consequences. That law really kicks into action when you try to do too much all at once.

This reminds me of a critical difference between liberals and conservatives (also libertarians). Liberals see almost every issue as a crisis which must be addressed immediately and totally, damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead, etc. Conservatives and libertarians are much more cautious. They are also much less willing to assume that governmental action will make a bad situation better. History tells us that those who think they have all the answers to every problem usually end up stubbing their toes. . . to detriment of society as a whole.
We need leaders who are not afraid to lead, but who at the same time do not kid themselves into believing that they can swallow the whole thing at one gulp.

AzWm If the fact that Obama left this Health Care legislation in the hands of Reid and Pelosi, then Obama is not that person willing to lead let alone able.
