Santa Clara just offered Findlay Prep, where Mike Peck used to coach, fwd Oshae Brissett. "Santa Clara will definitely be on my short list."

Yes. So many "high-major" players out there with a handful of top 10 national recruits playing in this game. After hearing so much about MGC's practice performance, I can't wait to see him out there next year.

from Scout.com Feb-2016. Moved out of the Top #100
"A kid with a ton of natural physical talent, Oshae Brissett has always been one of the more intriguing players in the class. He is long, nearly 6-foot-8, a good athlete, and can finish around the rim fairly well.
The problem for Brissett is that he continues to be someone whose potential outweighs his production, and not enough progress has been made in that area. For Brissett to move back into the top 100 he will need to continue and improve and show that he can be someone who impacts the game at the level that his physical tools suggest he should."

According to Oregon 24/7 Sports.com Ducks also looking at Brissett who has also recently visited USC. Oregon & SDSU go after the same guys, we need to land a few. "...The last option as of right now would be to go after 2017 four-star forward O'Shae Brissett from Findlay Prep. The 6-foot-7 forward is similar to what the Ducks are getting in Keith Smith, but he's more of a small forward-power forward combo than Smith's shooting guard-small forward combo. Brissett is close friends with Dillon brooks and is also from Mississauga, Ontario. The Ducks, however, would have some work to do if they want to bring him in now. Brissett has made an official visit to USC and three players who would play in his spot have since left the Trojan roster. Playing time will be there for the taking at USC. Not as much at Oregon..." oregon.247sports.com/Article/Oregon-basketball-spring-recruiting-targets-44535273

My first reaction to the "OU" you listed was Ohio University. You can't assume that everybody will assumes that means Oregon. How about "Ore" if not "Oregon," Oh, yes OU might conceivably mean University of Oklahoma. Yes, I am stickler for details. I always write Miami, FL when I mean the Hurricanes. There is, after all a DI school called Miami; it's in Ohio. (But, on the other hand, I'm afraid that I do usually write USC. South Carolinians probably get annoyed when people assume that USC mean the University of Southern California.) AzWm
