Kell is a much better SG then PG , please let him focus on scoring from the SG position . He is still trying to learn the PG position , so just let him focus on SG . We are going to need a solid contributor at SG . JH is a natural PG , played it in HS and All star games . Yes he will make mistakes as did Ritchie Williams , can do so many of the things people expect from a PG and will get better with experience so let him battle D. Williams for the job and gain the experience . We all know Fisher does not hand any one a job , they earn it in practice , so let the battle begin between the two guys who played PG is HS . Stop the on the job PG experiments , did not work with Winston , Kell or even AQ . Coaches recruited Kell as a scorer , let him work at that . Our guard play last year was average at best , we are not going to win against quality teams with average PG play . So start right away with guards that know how to play their positions .

Yes, yes it did. AQ was one of our few effective offensive players last year.

The striking thing about the loss to Duke in March was the alarming difference in guard play. AQ and Kell could pull it off against average backcourts, but if we wanna compete with the top dogs, we need X Thames, DJ Gay, Richie Williams type PGs again. Let us hope that JH can be that guy. I agree that Kell seems more like a SG.

Yes, because players can't improve between their FR & SO year, right?
Kell doesn't need to solely play the #2 or even the #3. He can play anywhere around the perimeter & be fine. He's a PLAYER. He'll have plenty of time to working on "scoring" (because scorers can't play PG according to you, right?).
