So we've gotten to the point where we are talking about some guy on twitter saying he heard Aaron is coming to "SDST" and it has some validity because he responded to a media type and now we are getting updates of another recruit who in no way is connected to SDSU? Got it. The next logical step is some other board using this thread as a source that Aaron is officially coming to SDSU. Enjoy the spit ballin' Johnny Utah. Oh, BTW SDSU 53, Utah 49. Pretty sure he's an Aztec fan.

Speculation is great and why people like me come here, but this thread just seemed a little over the top. Apologize to the family of Mateo the Gonzaga fan if I am not buying that he is an Aztec insider. To be fair the original poster said "FWIW"...I think it just shows how desperate we are for the roster to be finalized and then we can move on to endless threads about what the starting line-up should be until the season finally gets here. Is it possible to leave speculation to recruits actually in the conversation for SDSU or at least the MWC? The mods can correct me if I am incorrect here, but I think posts about Noah Dickerson, Johnathan Williams and other recruits with zero connection to SDSU should go here.

As long as there is a chance O.K., once they commit to a school not known as SDSU they & their related post are toast! IMO!

SDST does not equal South Dakota State University though.

SDST does not equal South Dakota State University though. That's the abbreviation ESPN uses for them, that's the point.

So I guess this guy's "source" was wrong? Shocking!

So I guess this guy's "source" was wrong? Shocking! I guess we can officially take Mateo the Gonzaga fan off the list of credible Aztec insiders. I am really disappointed in Mateo -- I've heard he's a super guy.

Well, to be fair, when he said "word around here is" he was probably referring to the guy talking to the bartender at Bubs, so blame should really be placed on HIS source, right?

He may have been leaning towards SDSU at one time. Kids change their mine all the time. He may end up being a better fit at USC.

Never believe these great sources especially fans from other schools ,who enjoy messing with Aztecs fans as we lose another recruit .
Aaron enjoyed his visit here , but selected USC who had more things / coaches he preferred
So over and out on this post
get on to other options for 2016 .

Maybe he was concerned he wouldn't get enough playing time here?

Or, he decided that he would prefer not to play in MM; so that he would be able to better focus on his studies.

USC has been slowly trying to make their team a quality team . Last year they added 2 - 4 star recruits . Have added 2 more 4* for 2015 , plus Aaron 4* so far for 2016 . So by 2016 they could easily be a better team . But do have to play in a very good PAC Conference .
