Will say this, this Matteo guy is communicating with a coach (albeit HS football) & a sports talk host for the Seattle area UW fradio station who's probably THE most UW-biased person on earth (for someone who never went there), so that by itself has to give him a lot of cred.. Softy's typically response at this point in time would be "the UW staff decided they really didn't need or want him so they rescinded the offer" - I'd have to think that tweet is coming out soon.
I do hope he's right, but as Fisherville said - "fwiw"!

More likely it shows that Nolan Narain has decided not to reclassify and informed the staff of that decision. Your version is a possibility, though, just IMO less likely. |

I'll jump on the wishful thinking bandwagon... Any chance we haven't heard a peep from Shaqquan is because we are waiting for an outgoing transfer announcement first? I don't think that would be necessary considering he would have to sit out the first year and Shepard and possibly Pope are leaving after this year. Btw - when is the last day for a transfer to make a decision/commitment on a school? |

FWIW - Noah Dickerson will visit Cal, Texas and Washington. He kid is a 6'8"245 PF and Washington already has two 2015 PF recruits Chriss 6'9 4-star and Duruissaeu 6'8 3-star the same position. Cal Has Rabb. Texas has no recruits at either C/PF/SF. I bet he goes to Texas, as Myles Turner is off to the NBA. |

Clearinghouse can take a long time as well to determine athletic eligibility....so the longer you play chicken with those guys the bigger risk you take.
I'd HOPE if Aaron is coming here he'd want to be here for a summer session to get a jump with his teammates, so would expect the decision to come relatively soon.
It's POSSIBLE Narain has indicated to the staff he wants to reclassify to 2015 & come in, and thus the staff is deciding if there is a scholarship available (e.g. your transfer scenario). But very unlikely IMO.
I would think the decision order would be: 1. Aaron does/doesn't take the scholarship 2. If he does, Narain stays 2016 3. If he doesn't, Narain has option for 2015 (if he CAN & wants to)
