Neither Gwynn or Faulk were playing at Kawhi's level after 4 years of play. Already NBA Champ ,NBA Finals MVP and DPOY 2015. Faulk & Gwynn are pro hall of famers in their respective sport. Kawhi has a long way to go.

You know what your right. I'm just gonna ditch Kawhi cuz he meant little - Without his play in the Gonzaga game we never beat Gonzaga at their place. And if Jamaal starts to play well in the NBA(averaged almost a triple double per game in D League) it won't mean too much to me because he only played about 2 seasons for us. And if Josh Davis makes a NBA team it won't mean much . We could not have beat Kansas at Kansas without him but he only played one season for us so no biggie. And Pope will likely play only next season and go to the NBA but it will only be 2 seasons so I won't follow him much either. And Polee if he makes the NBA he really only played about two season for us until he got hurt so I won't follow him either. Should I go on? Kawhi would have been rookie of the year if the Spurs had given him more minutes and allowed him to play selfish ball which is what every ROY does. Of course KL would not have done that anyway. Pro Bowl MVP??? ARE YOU SERIOUS? That is a joke of a game. Baseball has the only meaningful all star game. You are just a bitter GSW fan.LOL

No, again it's "act like you've been there before." Having a statue of Kawhi is ridiculous. There is a good chance we may even have better players than Kawhi in our future.
Don Coryell for Football, not Faulk. Don't forget Faulk, I think left after his sophomore year.
Tony for Baseball. (of course)
Fisher obviously has been the longest and most successful coach, but who knows 15 years from now if another coach takes us to a National Championship. Just forget a basketball statue for now and Fisher will always be tied to Michigan nationally anyway, even though he has coached at San Diego State longer. I still talk to people outside of San Diego who have no idea Steve Fisher is the coach at San Diego State and just think he disappeared after being fired from Michigan.
