doubt it... Brandon is originally from Chicago. But who knows. Yeah, McCoy is a common name, and it would have been mentioned in some of his bios if he was related to someone who made it to the NBA.

So you're saying the fact he mentioned those schools, is open to even more offers and won't make a decision until all the summer play, and SDSU is eliminated? Sounds like everyone is still on the table to me.

Don't know what his Major is but family oriented and winning sounds like SDSU/

A complete guess here but that he selects 5 major visits after the summer AAU events to schools not in the area . Plus some "unofficial " visits to schools close by . Also the in home visits . Doubt he needs to make any decision before that .

Yes he would fit in perfectly with the Aztecs . But unfortunately he would also fit in perfectly with at least 10 other schools . All depends on what and where he is looking for ? My guess school that can help him land a lottery pick in the 2017 NBA draft .

Any school can help McCoy be a high draft pick, there is no reason SDSU can't be that school. But I wouldn't blame him for picking MSU/AZ. That being said I highly doubt McCoy is 1 and done lottery guy no matter where he ends up

an athletic 7 footer rated #9 in the country . Very likely he wants a school that will help him be a lottery pick after his freshman season .

It's good to keep dreaming
Our Aztecs have never signed a top 10 player..why? Because we simply have not sent kids to the NBA and there's a big difference playing in a P5 conference
McCoy won't come here just life Leaf, Hands and other local kids that are top 50 players...
It's unfortunate because of you are great, u will get drafted in the lottery no matter what team you are on
But SDSU is known for defense and a severely underdeveloped offense..playing great D does not get u drafted...u have to get BUCKETS
