Can we get him to stay home? From the SD UT Preps:
"..McCoy is averaging 19 points, 16 rebounds and seven blocks a game this season. Imagine what those numbers could be two years from now, when McCoy has grown into his body, when he’s learned to block out better, when he’s improved his footwork and when he’s had a chance to work on other aspects of his game...0"

Still, nice to see... :-)

McCoy was named to the EYBL in Lexington, this recaps his game.
Brandon McCoy, 2017 C, California Supreme: A true 7-footer. McCoy can step out and hit the mid-range. Though he blocks a lot of shots, McCoy too often relinquishes the lane and blocks from behind. If he moved his feet just a little bit he would be an even more dominant defender. Supreme was named Best Team by EYBL Lexington PR.

This dude is going to get 100s of offers, and will play the field for another 16+ months. If we point out every offer or rumor this thread goes to 20+ pages.

Any chance of getting this young man ? "Talented 2017 PF/C Brandon McCoy said UCLA, San Diego State and Arizona are on him the hardest. Interest coming from Kansas and Kentucky." i like to share information rather then be myopic on and only reports Aztec facts, it gives us all a better, more transparent understanding of this players status.

If this true which I hope isn't... I think it's our inability to develop our bigs over the years. SDSU attracts the wings really well as we are known for those types. For so many years, San Diego was void of basketball talent other than a few exceptions like Jared Dudley and Chase Budinger...so to see McCoy, Hands and Ayton in our backyard at the same time will be painful if they go elsewhere. But with that said, I'm happy with Kell, Shrigs and Chol.

But with that said, I'm happy with Kell, Shrigs and Chol. If they go to places such as Fresno, Boise, ASU, OSU, etc., that'd be a concern. Mid-Majors or 2nd tier power conference programs. The fact he's looking at KU, MSU, Arizona & UCLA - the bluebloods - really isn't a statement about us at all. Some kids lean towards staying local (e.g. Rabb); others simply want to play for the elite. Don't blame them at all.
