Yea, I doubt Romar would sign the waiver allowing him to play 2 years.
BIG blow for UW - wow. Surprising, especially given the influx of talent coming in. Terrific talent and really surprised he's putting off going pro at least 2 years.
Wouldn't surprise me if he ends up in Vegas (again).
My question is do you give a guy like him a scholarship knowing he could very well go pro after his next year? In other words, you fill a spot for 2016 knowing you may only get 2017 out of him?
Given how high the coaching staff is on JH I just don't see us going there. Not when he can't play next year when he'd most be needed.

If lack of cohesion is the reason for transfer why would he go to UNLV? They have had 17 guys leave the program in the last 4 years.

Won't be an Aztec. He's a great player, and he would a great fit NEXT year if he didn't have to sit out, but I think with Hemsley coming in next year, I'd rather just roll with him in 2016 and use this scholarship elsewhere.
Chris Haynes @chrisbhaynes Nigel Williams-Goss, transferring from UW, informs me he's narrowed choices to UNLV, Texas, Georgetown, Michigan State, Arkansas, Gonzaga

I'd bet my money it's UNLV

I'd bet my money it's UNLV I certainly wouldn't bet against that. He could do very well in the MWC and in Dave Rice's 'system' and having played at Findley Prep, has some roots there. A knock against UNLV for him is that Rice seems to be year-to-year at this point. Another non-NCAA tournament season and they have to let him go.

From Jeff Goodman @ ESPN:
"Just talked to Nigel Williams-Goss. Said UNLV definitely in the mix, and he plans to visit Texas. Michigan State and G'Town also involved."

Would much rather have MarkT from USF for a year and see who we can get at PG in 2016 freshman or grad transfer in 2016. That would also give us a year to see how we are at PG this year. If an Aztec decides to transfer this year opening a scholarship for 15-16, then he would be an option.

NWG originally committed to UNLV and Lon Kruger, but re-opened his recruitment when Kruger left to OU. I'm actually surprised OU isn't in the mix.

He could get a call from Kruger and others this is the wildest time , for HS recruits , transfers both In and Out , guys off to the NBA , coaches going crazy trying to figure it out . Again he would need a scholarship , sit 2015-16 with a starting point for two years in 2016 . For 2015 as of now we have JH, KZ, DW , TK, MS ,5 guys 80 minutes. We have talked with guards for 2016 . and none of the current guys are seniors, So as mentioned if all the guys come back , we have 12 scholarships taken for 2015 . so with the remaining scholarship , Narain 6'10" , if he decides to reclassify from 2016 to 2015 , big need for 2016 is C/PF . If not then the grad transfer PF from San Francisco is a 1 and done for 2015-16 , so it keeps scholarships open for 2016 .

As Duke and Kentucky have shown ,all they have to be on campus for is one year , maintain a 2.6 and then off to the NBA .

U Dub's 2015-2016 recruiting class includes 8 guys. 6 incoming Freshman and two transfers + one red shirt eligible. That's 9 new guys, what's going on in Seattle? But Romar pulled down a killer class this year.
