For all those who really, really want a PG transfer, he's the leading assist man in the PAC12, former McD's All American, and leaving the University of Washington due to a lack of cohesion. Not eligible next season, but I would surely welcome him to SDSU in a heartbeat.

I figured he was done with the mutts but thought he would roll the dice with the NBA not be looking to transfer.

Originally from the state of Oregon , yes he would have to sit 2015-16 ,need to give him a scholarship, , then have 2 to play.

It would seem safe to assume Gonzaga, SDSU, and UNLV will all make contact with the kid. Those are the best 3 programs in the west outside of the PAC. I could see him going to any one of those 3, but he will likely have some very good programs reach out to him. Solid PG with experience, will likely have his pick of the litter for his next destination really.

would guess he is looking for schools that will have a PG that is graduating after the 2015-16 season , so he can step right in for the 2016-17 season. Also school that has a scholarship to give for 2015-16 season while he red shirts. Surprised Gonzaga and Oregon are not on his list .UNLV has a senior PG transfer coming in this year that will graduate Seagers (sp), plus as mentioned he played at Findlay in Las Vegas so he likes a fast paced offense. Believe Washington has a few highly rated HS recruits coming in for 2015 , better class then ours . Also believe Aztec coaches feel JH will be taking care of the PG position by 2016 . Bigger need is to have guys for 2016 to replace SS, AC , MP and even WS if he comes back this year , all will be gone in 2016 .

If NWG came to SDSU I suspect that one of the other PG candidates would transfer out; figuring that his PT was pretty much going away.

I think Pac-12 has rule that player needs to sit 2 years if they transfer within conference, so makes sense Oregon not on the list.

I think you're right with this one. If they can't get their ish together with the guys they have coming in and NWG potentially in the fold, they deserve to get bumped to the Big Sky conference or the Grossmont South League...whichever is worse.

I think odds are very slim that he comes to SDSU. Last 2015-2016 scholorship will likely go to 1)5th year senior, 2)Narian if he reclassifies or 3)D1 transfer F/C who will sit out - I really think SDSU is going forward with Hemsley as PG with Zabo/Kell as backup and therefore won't be looking at D1 PG transfer who can't play next year. As other's mention, UNLV seems like the logical choice for him.

Would concur most likely headed back to his HS area of Las Vegas/was on Rebels recruiting list when he was in HS. . Although Gonzaga could be tempting if he wants to stay in the NW area .
Aztec coaches like or want to see how the mix of guards plays out for 2015-16 and going forward .
By the way was there any further information about if the PAC was able to change the "transfer rule " they had proposed , not requiring a transfer to sit a year?

This would be a huge get for SDSU if we can him to come to the Mesa. The Oracle always liked his game.
