Marks is a Senior, Vaughn is a Freshman, puts it in perspective when you look at those numbers.

Vaughn 's stats 18 points per game , 5 rebounds , 1.5 assists and steals , 44 FG % , 39 % on Threes , Very likely best offensive player in the conference if not injured .or at least best guard . Yes better then Marks .Nope, not better than Marks, or even really close.
Usage Rates: Marks: 32.7 % Vaughn: 29%
% of shots when on floor: Marks: 36.2%% Vaughn: 32.7 %
TS% (how efficienct player was) Marks: 58.5% Vaughn: 54.7%
There is 0 argument that Vaughn was a better scorer (or really anything) than Marks last year.
Not sure I'm buying the "numbers" argument in this particular case. I'd take Vaughn all day over Marks. Anyone who saw him play when he was healthy knows he had the best all-around game and was the best offensive weapon in the conference. Marks is still a great player and will have a nice career overseas. Vaughn will be in the league shortly...

Again, you're going off of the numbers ("Marks was much better than Vaughn last year"). I suppose I'm going off of the good ole' eye test. In no way am I degrading Marks' talent. In the games that I saw him play, I just think Vaughn's on another level.

Bennett, Birch, Smith - UNLVs players leaving early hasn't blown the doors off the NBA.

I guess if you're going to take (for 1 year) a freshman Vaughn or a senior Marks I guess you have to go with the senior but Vaughn is far and away the better talent... not even close

"There is 0 questions?" Ok then, in that case, let me be the first to question, then. "Better" isn't relegated to numbers only. Besides, before he got hurt, Vaughn had similar numbers and was "better" than Marks (in my opinion). No need to say "maybe I need new eyes." Geez, I even qualified my opinion by saying "I think that Vaughn's on another level." I've never passed anything off as fact like you have. No need to get all butthurt; I've never questioned Marks' talent. Maybe it's you who needs the new eyes...

RICE DELIVERS another NBA draft pick! Go Rebs! #SAVEDAVERICE NBA #1 pick Bennet! UNLV love it! So we all agree Rice does more with less than any MWC coach?

Vaughn has more talent. Marks is the better basketball player.
If I were building a team for the feature, no question I would take Vaughn but if I were picking players to win a game RIGHT NOW???...Yeah give me Marks. If you surround Marks with the Talent Vaughn had at UNLV last year and he makes that team a top 15 squad

R.V did sign with an agent so off to the NBA . wonder if Wood follows him to the NBA .
still think R.V is quite the player . Marks is good but would say if he did not have Webb there this year , BSU would not have finished in first with the Aztecs . Next year BSU is bringing in the PG,Austin, from O'Dowd , played very well against Cage and his team mates .
Rebels are bringing in another transfer at PG , from Rutgers , Seagers (sp )

IMO Marks was the better player this year but was also asked to do more for his team, especially after Drmic went down. There's a reason he was the POY. However, Vaughn has a higher ceiling and will be the better pro prospect. Just not convinced he's all that. There are a lot of guys in the D league with his credentials, and not sure he has that pro -ready skill yet.

Just saying. If you're talking about this past year I disagree. Marks was a much better decision maker, turned it over less and doubled the assist rate. We needed that this year. Vaughn made a lot of poor decisions with the ball and wasn't a good defender. If you're talking each player at their peak, whenever that is for Vaughn, I agree with you. But this past year, given our team and needs, it'd be Marks in a landslide IMO.
