I did not see this in a thread and I can't figure out how to post something from twitter it but saw this on Geoff Grammer's twitter that Vaughn signed with an agent and will turn pro.

Probably the best decision for him. He certainly wasn't going to get any better with Dave Rice coaching him

Great decision, his stock would have only went down playing for Davey Rice.

R.V. has denied that he has hired an agent , and says has not made a final decision . Believe if he does not hire an agent he can wait until April 10 th . Key is not hiring an agent .
Also C/PF Wood is looking at his options for 2015-16 and the Rebels . If both stay the Rebels could be a very good team ,possibly top 25 team . They do have a starting PG transfer , Seagers (sp) from Rutgers coming in . plus two top 100 HS recruits.

So he won't have any excuses if they crap out again. Definitely his make of break year.

April 14 marks one day before the spring signing period for basketball.

Despite Rice, if both stay I predict top 15. By the end of the season they were starting to put it together and that was without RV.
I know we love to hate them, but that team is LOADED if RV and Wood stay (and still talented if they don't). Rice certainly holds them back a bit, but he WILL learn and coupled with the talent will make some noise nationally eventually if he can continue to recruit like he has, which is great for the conference and us BTW.
That being said, I think it's almost a certainty that both are NBA Draft bound.

Really hope this is one of those "where there's smoke there's fire" things & he has in fact signed with an agent.
If I had to pick just 1 I'd rather see Wood leave...

Most programs in the MW could compete for a championship with a starting 5 of McCaw, Cornish, Morgan, Carter and Okonoboh. All the other teams in the MW are just lucky that UNLV has Dave Rice as head coach which means you can drop them a couple spots.

Believe Rebels are bringing in two top HS recruits 6'6" SF/SG D. Jones #43 ( who can jump/dunk similar to DP ) and guard 6'3" Poyser . Really trying to get Zimmerman for their 5/C but battling the blue bloods. Great starting PG transfer Seagers (sp) , who red shirted last year . Also red shirt transfer PF Ben Carter . So at least 4 additions . Graduating seniors were Doolin - PG and Kendrick Sg/SF . They played us very close last year even with out R. V .

Dave Rice has proven time and time again he is capable of sending his players to bigger and better players. Give that man a contract extension and declare him coach for life.
Do the right thing UNLV.

I didn't see enough of Vaughn to justify his possible #1 draft position. I swear, a lot of these guys live off their McDonalds reputation. SMH

Vaughn 's stats 18 points per game , 5 rebounds , 1.5 assists and steals , 44 FG % , 39 % on Threes , Very likely best offensive player in the conference if not injured .or at least best guard . Yes better then Marks .

Usage Rates: Marks: 32.7 % Vaughn: 29%
% of shots when on floor: Marks: 36.2%% Vaughn: 32.7 %
TS% (how efficienct player was) Marks: 58.5% Vaughn: 54.7%
There is 0 argument that Vaughn was a better scorer (or really anything) than Marks last year.
