Before I met my wife I was looking at a lot of girls. That didn't mean that they were looking back.

2010 just called to say Utah would never be added to the Pac-12.

SDSU will join the B12 in 2016 as the first choice of 4 additions, based on our media market and other demographics. Don't ask me about my sources. I cannot confirm or deny. I can confirm the same thing I heard from a very reliable source, although he did not mention the year specifically. Even if REMOTELY true we have to bring something to the table in football, beforehand. Could be a connection to Sterk's top 25 edict.

Read my first post on page 1. It comes from a source very close to the football program. There might be a reason that Hirshman wants to be involved with the stadium negotiations!!

Now you say that what you posted on page 1 comes from a source close to the football program. But in that post you said it was your "prediction" and just your "opinion". So, which is it?

Who cares? BYU can "look" all they want just like sdsu is "looking" to get in, it doesn't matter. There hasn't been any actual news of the b12 considering expanding from what I know, everything is just speculation and hopes.

I think BYU's biggest issue is their internal tug o' war between the church's hierarchy and athletics. The church is insistent on having BYU-TV playing a role wherever they go in athletics, but the athletic side wants to downplay it because it would hamper any invite. And yes not playing sports on Sunday would be a factor, but I don't think that in itself is a deal breaker. IMO it's the combined BYU-TV and Sunday issue which makes them too high maintenance to accept. They changed their stance on letting blacks becoming members. Do you think it may have had something to do with athletics? BTW, I don't think that the strength of the football program is the only deciding factor. I think TV market, recruiting area, and academics are also factors. Give SDSU $23 million and maybe they fulfill their potential.

If I recall it was something about blacks couldn't be deacons, or whatever their hierarchy is called.

FSU and BSU will never be PAC 12 schools, academically low and they don't have a decent TV market between the two of them. theres no addollars in those markets. The article is pure crap.
