Since they have more scholarships it would be great for them to bring in some income. Our football program is not able to fund the other athletic programs. I am sure Basketball has made it possible for us to add back many of the 25 jobs we cut back years ago. We have added some assistant coaches back in a few sports.

I've been taking my daughter and one or two of her teammates to some of the women's Saturday games. You can see that the team is a work in progress, but there are definitely some talented players on the team. We're all big fans of 5'4" Ariell Bostick as well as Chloe Johnson and Erimma Amerikwa. They're fun players to watch.
And there's something about coach Terry that gives me confidence in her, too.

sounds like she is stretched thin as a single parent. i hope she uses some of her big salary for quality daycare.

Nice human interest story . Thought article stated that grandma was helping with T's daughter. But bottom line is winning . Coach T will also have the JAM center to "share " and help in recruiting . Need quality players and then coach them to win .

After the game on Saturday the team was autographing posters for the fans, and Coach Terry came out and went person to person thanking everyone individually for coming to the game. It was a nice, classy thing to do.
It took me a little by surprise when she patted me on the shoulder and thanked me for coming to the game as I was talking to Chloe Johnson and Erimma Amerikwa. It was a different side to her than I was used to seeing (she's pretty intense court side during the games).

I've never understood why the men's and women's teams travel separately and play separately. Wouldn't it be less expensive to travel together and play in the same arena on the same day?
