Very rough assessment right now - Lawndale is pretty much a 2 man team. Brodricks picked up 2 fouls early and it pretty much took his flow out of the game. Showed flashes of being a quality post passer. Needs to get stronger and learn to finish inside, but his team didn't help much in that regard. Solid length, good lateral quickness. Need to see more of him though. Tough game to judge because the Celtics are just a better team.

Not heard too much positives on his game this year.

I don't think we need him to come in and be an impact guy as a true freshman. Let him gain some bulk in the lower body and work his way into the rotation gradually. FWIW, I wasn't impressed by Metu (USC commit) either. Good shot blocker, decent range, but I think his attitude is going to be a detriment. The Patrick School just had way better guard play, which turned the game into a rout. Opened up 21-3 and coasted.

Still wish that both College and HS had 6 fouls instead of 5 , especially with today's refs calls . Ryan ,understand Aztecs hope to have a center , when they go after M. Cage as a PF , do you see BJ able to handle the center position after Spencer and Chol leave ?
