He looks like he could play on either side of the ball. I like his running style, he finds his trajectory and doesn't mess around.

A violent player, very strong in run support, has a nose for the ball, good speed, good angles, plays bigger than he is. A solid three star, if a P5 team picked him up, he'd be a four star, for sure. Quality teams offered him, a great get.
Oldie Out

Oldie Out I agree with Old School he is a great get for us, but it looks like he did have two offers from Utah and Washington State, they are P5 I believe. regardless, its great for us and welcome to SDSU.

Looks like a perfect fit for SDSU. Takes great angles and lays the lumber. Welcome to the Mesa young man.

His namesake was an SDSU wide receiver back in the Stone Age when I began at SDSU.

His namesake was an SDSU wide receiver back in the Stone Age when I began at SDSU. I was going to bring up the same thing. He had a pretty good pro career too - mostly with the Bills. (correction!) Rams, Chargers, Eagles

Remember Ron Smith well. A real blazer. Late in the game against Buffalo with a tie score he took a pass from Fouts in front of the free safety and took it all the way for the winning score.
When he was an Aztec, the team was so talented that he "was one of the receivers".

That Ron Smith also scored a TD for the Rams in the 1980 Super Bowl, against the Steelers....The pass was thrown by the Rams star running back Lawrence McCutcheon.
