I Hate BYU. Don't need to see B Y Who on my TV screen for at least 20 years now. Actually, I would love to see them against us every season! Like in a pre-conference game. They usually have good shooting teams, and play us to the hilt, and you couldn't ask for a more exciting and meaningful game than what we had last night. What, are you afraid of them, and that we might lose? That is a possibility, but if you want to play good teams to give your team experience to handle these type of teams, this is the only way to go. Think about it.

Nothing sweeter than whoopin those cougars. This. All. Day. Long. I love playing these guys. And I LOVE when we snag the W.

Never mind the dozen fouls committed by ybu at the end of regulation...but you wouldn't know that due to the homer espn announcers who had Haws c*ck in their mouths the entire game. What's with the media's fascination with ybu anyway... Thats funny. Watching with my pop last night, and i think EVERY game, be it football or basketball, he's always saying the same thing... "Those announcers sure seem to talk down about sdsu" or "They really talk high about the other school" lol ...Not saying that its not true, though. If you watch the espn recap of the game almost 80% of the highlights are ALL BYU. Even though we controlled the whole game. What can you say, Offense is just prettier to watch than defense for many. I think it was the same with the Creighton game last year too...although I was at the game, I was told all they could talk about was the coaches son and how he was going to unleash all holy hell on us...they may have had a more SDSU friendly crew though, but espn doesn't think we're a story yet...

Yeah, but honestly it makes sense. SDSU really hasnt had a dominant offensive player like a Jimmer or McDermott besides X Thames. But even X wasnt a well known player on that level. Offensive stars will always get the love. But its cool, i'll take the hard nose defensive team that we got any day!

Nothing sweeter than whoopin those cougars. ^This^ One of the all-time fav moments of my life was waving good-bye to the (up to that point) righteous/smug BYU fans who were slinking out of the T&M with their tails between their legs when we beat Jimmer. I was sad that they left the conference as it meant less of those moments. Speaking of, I'll be rooting for the California "stinkin" Bears and wearing my "After further review BYU SUCKS!" t-shirt up here in Berkeley this Sat

So ridiculous that Hawes is still playing at BYU Absolutely! Didn't he play vs Aztec teams that had Walton and Manker on them? 26 year olds should be playing pro ball not college.

I don't consider BYU a rival. I consider them an enemy. I never want to play them again in any sport.

Think about it. I am not afraid of losing to them, we just beat them and I think we will widen the gap between our hoops program and theirs over the next several years. I am afraid of losing to Arizona, but I would love to schedule them for home and home every year. We need to focus on scheduling as many Pac-12 and Big-12 schools that we can, especially since we are currently better than almost all of them. I would love home and homes with Arizona and Kansas. Schedule with the Big-12 often to put SDSU on their conscious. Oklahoma would be great (Fisher vs Kruger), or Kansas State or Oklahoma State. I am thinking bigger, we don't need the Whos anymore. Unless they can package us with them to the Big 12 then all bets are off

What's with the media's fascination with ybu anyway... They have a football contract with ESPN which means their basketball falls under that umbrella. It's nothing but a sell job. Disgusting.

Like many of you, I was on a 5 to 5 1/2 yr plan to get my SDSU degree. I never thought of telling people I was actually on a 2-yr mission. Let's call this day a revelation.

Zoobs! The worst football day ever was getting beat by Van Noy! The best basketball day ever was winning the conference tournament and watching Jizzer cry. The most irritating game ever was when they cheated in the review booth! Zoobs!
