Our shooting PCT% is awful, but it shows that we have balanced scoring across the squad. The most welcomed surprise Chols, post presence and jump hook, AQs leadership and hard nose play, Zabos maturity and focus. Glad to see the Pope hold court too.

Thought we would be getting more scoring from Shepard and Polee .

Thought we would be getting more scoring from Shepard and Polee . Defenses are keying in on Shep because he's the returning leading scorer and playmaker, and they haven't had to pay a price for doing so because no one can make a shot. I wasn't sold on Polee coming in - his game is SO much better suited getting the ball in the right spot as opposed to trying to create his own shot.

I was hoping to see him be able to create his own shot. Even draw the defense where he could create for others. I'm hoping tho, DP is just rushing things and the ball will get in the basket come next game.

I don't care how good their defense is. Without a few players who are capable of scoring 12-15 points per game, this team is going to drop out of the top 25 before league play ever begins.

Biggest disappointment is Z and Pope not being 100%, the offense is truly another huge issue, Shep needs to get his game going, Polee looks uncertain, JJ needs to be more aggressive and hopefully Trey Kell will hit a shot. The bench has played well, AQ, Chol, Zabo...we're also missing Shrigs to spread the floor.

Everyone needs to play with more confidence. Here's theory #100. They say our practices are like games, with 2s playing 1s tight, etc. in our games we don't allow our opponents to get in a rhythm. Is it possible our O isn't getting into a rhythm in practice and thus aren't developing the necessary confidence for games?

Kell is going to come into his own soon. He'll start nailing shots when his nerves calm down.

Just think when we start scoring. Oh man this team is going to be good. The young men are working so hard and they really look like a team that expects to win. The shots will come and then we can all sit back and enjoy another ride. So damn exciting and this is best time of the year.

Most reports have been that we're hitting shots in practice and Fisher continues to say that the offense is better than we've seen so far. I think it'll get better, but only time will tell.
